Five days among the red rocks, held by one facilitator, six women, and a place that has never once let me down.
Let's Connect
Several women have contacted me over the years to ask about hosting a retreat here in Sedona, where I now live - such a land of beauty, mystery, and magic. And so, a few times a year, I open the doors.
I spent thirty years as a psychotherapist, working primarily with women. That work never really left me - it just changed shape. I began painting in 2008 because I had the sense that I could, and the feminine figure, in human form and in nature, has been my subject ever since. The retreat is the same instinct in a different room: creating a space where women can see themselves clearly, without an audience to perform for.
We begin tentatively, as strangers meeting on a screen, each of us naming why we've come. Then we gather in person, and something else takes over - the energetics of realization, of understanding, of true change, rising together in a small, supportive, tender space of trust and love.
You know how I work - fast and furious, with great portions of love, support, humor, and acceptance. If there is one ounce of a "yes" in you, that's enough to begin.
- Ché
"The women from my last retreat still meet every other week to maintain what they built here. Our conversations and growth keep deepening. I'm transformed as well - it's not I who do all this. It's the group."
A rhythm of deep work, followed always by rest and integration - never one without the other.
We open the circle. Arrive to the home that holds us for the week - red rock views on every side. We gather that evening for our first meal together and begin, gently, to say why we've come.
Mornings begin with guided group process - the real work of naming what you're ready to step into, and what you're ready to step away from.
Afternoons open outward: a yoga session among the Red Rocks, a heart-opening adventure out on the land, and time simply to rest.
One evening brings a Sound Healing session in the home itself.
We close as we opened - together. A final morning to integrate, to say what needs saying, and to carry the "scope of expansion" you've named back out into your life.

Floor-to-ceiling windows open onto Sedona's red rock formations from nearly every room. This is where we convene, roam, soak in the magic, rest, integrate, and restore - all meals provided, and every window a reminder of why you came.
Ché has her own way of describing what this land does to a person, and she says it best in her own words. Watch below to hear her talk about the pull of this place, and why every retreat she holds happens right here and nowhere else.
Mardi has been part of Ché's world for years - a retreat guest, a longtime client, someone who keeps coming back to do this work in different forms. This is her, in conversation, on what it's actually given her.
"Ché has this beautiful balance of support and loving challenge. I feel held and invited to look honestly at myself - never fixed, never managed."On working with Ché
"I have realized I will not be who I'm not. I will be true to myself, not tempted to live as the people-pleaser I was before."On who she's become
"It was the body, the natural world, ritual, connection, reflection. A lot of work was done in a short period of time."On the retreat
"If you're on the fence about doing a retreat with Ché, do it. It is life transforming - a safe, sacred spot to explore."On deciding to go
From a conversation with Mardi, a longtime client of Ché's.
Ché has never fit neatly into one label, and she's stopped trying to. What she brings into the retreat room is everything she is outside of it.

Self-taught since 2008. Bold color, raw texture, the feminine figure as her recurring subject. Shown in New York, Atlanta, Nashville, and Asheville.

You'll find her some nights with a guitar and a microphone, singing in Sedona rooms that smell like good wine and craft beer.

Keynotes, readings, evenings at the mic. Same presence that holds the retreat room, just turned toward an audience instead of a circle.
"Don't mistake my stillness or inaction for weakness, complicity, or ignorance. I wisely wait for the right moment to open. And it will."
Ché's writing lives on Substack. Tune into her voice, on the retreat and on working with her one-on-one.
